What is it about the VW camper van? It’s a classic sure enough. The old style van that conjures up images of California surfer dudes and endless blue skies and ocean. It is a part of popular culture that has endured for 60 years. The modern vans are cool too though and especially when they have been customised with body kits, lowered suspension and cool alloy wheels.

Having completed the classroom training, the next steps were to create an operations manual, take a flight assessment and then submit my manual and proof of competence to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for approval.
